Our family has a long history of raising Dachshunds. It started with my father’s love for the breed that he passed on to his children and we have continued to raise them.
Where does the Nugget name come from? When we got our first Dachshund female, Cookie, the first time we bred her she only had a single, chocolate, female puppy. Our daughter at the time, maybe 2 or 3 years old began calling her Nugget and the name kept coming up when we were trying to think of a name. It was so original, and innocent, as well as representing what we plan to bring you and your family in the little Nuggets of joy we plan to produce.
